課程概述 |
本課程主要引領學生如何執導已完成的戲劇文本，除了介紹導演語言的元素構成外，並將帶領學生瞭解劇場導演創作一齣戲的整個流程，從排練前的導演準備功課到排練期間所有導演負責的工作事項，包括劇本挑選、演員甄選、劇本分析、導演詮釋及創作構想，到如何具體落實導演的創作理念等。
This course focuese on providing the students the necessary practical tools in order to direct a playtext: analysis of the playtexts and composition of the directing concept, composition of the form and the artistic space of the performance, development of a directing strategy, of a method of working with the actors and the designers and of a sucesful rehearsal planning |

課程目標 |
本課程將以Timberlake Wertenbaker’s The Love of the Nightingale作為導演技藝的演練文本，除學習如何從導演的角度進行劇本分析的方法與步驟外，更透過學生期末的導演作品的創作，進階學習如何具體型塑與落實自身導演創作的構想。
1. To gain the necessary practical tools in order to direct a playtext.
2. To provide a critical understanding of directing craft. |

課程要求 |
限修畢過導演(一)或導演專題者，且有實際導演經驗者，且須具有大量閱讀英文資料能力者。欲修課同學必須在8月底前繳交個人相關劇場資歷及創作構想及分析評論。第一週上課時將視情況另舉行術科甄選。無故缺課兩次以上者，該科以零分計；上課遲到者以三次為上限，每次扣學期總成績一個等第，超過三次則以零分計。 |
